Adventure #7 - Part 1 (Our First Ice Hockey Game)

Before we headed out to Quebec we went to watch the Mighty Kingston Frontenacs (our local Ice Hockey team) up against the top placed Belleville Bulls. There wasn't quite as many fights as I would have liked but after watching a 65 year old woman wrestle a souvenir t-shirt out of the hands of Thomas, thrown into the crowd by the players - there was nearly one! I let her have that one, then placed my frame between Tom / the next t-shirt and her, suffice to say say she wasn't quite mobile enough to get around me....

Anyway the night started off with a bit of junk food which was closely followed by the ceremonial puck drop and the National Anthem sung by some school kids.

The boys into the junk food.

The Fronts Warming Up

Entering the Rink.

The Fronts.

The Ceremonial Puck Drop.

Kids singing the National Anthem.

High Fives after scoring.

Ultimately the Fronts (pronounced like Frond) had a win so the boys were happy, although Benny went from hero to zero quite quickly and despite the noise went quickly from Stage 1 (excited) through Stage 2 (psychotic) to stage 3 (asleep).
Benny at Stage 1.5...

The Fronts Win.
